We have posted some information and screenshots of Bandai Namco's Tales of Xillia 2, and the company was kind enough to toss out some new images for us to look over.

Record of Agarest War Zero - Review

Recently we took a look back at the original Record of Agarest War, a game that I enjoyed quite a bit despite some shortcomings.  Record of Agarest War 2 is slated for release later this month, which sets us up nicely to talk about Record of Agarest War Zero.

Tekken Hybrid Review

Having been a longstanding fan of all things Tekken, I am really looking forward to Tekken Tag Tournament 2.  I had not even heard about Tekken Hybrid until right after it released, but it is a nice little piece of fan service that probably appeals more to existing fans than bringing in newer ones.

Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown - PlayStation 3 Review

Virtua Fighter has always been an interesting series, because it uses such a precise combat engine, there can be a bit of a barrier for newer players.  You might be able to button mash your way through the easiest level of difficulty, but you will lose to skilled players or even average AI difficulty nine times out of 10 - at least.

Dead or Alive 5 - Screens and the E3 trailer

With the recent Virtual Fighter release for download, it was interesting to see Dead or Alive 5 featuring Sarah Bryant from the series.

Review: Lollipop Chainsaw (PS3)

Goichi Suda is the video game equivalent to Quintin Tarantino. It’s eerie how similar the two are – they share a similar cinematic flair, and a similar sense of humour. They’re also similar in that they’re different enough from the mainstream that they’re an acquired taste.

Final Fantasy III - Release information & Screens

It seems a little odd to me that Final Fantasy III is getting a release for the PSP and not the PlayStation Vita, but it looks pretty solid all the same.

Capcom to release Resident Evil collections

Resident Evil as a series has seen a lot of changes over the years, and while some might say for the worse, others might argue for the better based on their personal preferences.

A Look Back: Tekken 6

Tekken has been showing up in more and more gaming conversations of late.  It really should not come as a surprise, given the fact that the popular series has been around since the first PlayStation and has shown up in the recently released Street Fighter X Tekken, the somewhat recently released Tekken Hybrid, and the upcoming Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

A look back: Record of Agarest War

I really had no idea what to expect going into Record of Agarest War.  I had seen a few screenshots, and then eventually one short review that proved to be less-than-flattering.  The anime art style caught my eye right away, and then the more I began to read about it, the more interested I became as I learned about the various strategy, RPG and even dating simulation elements.

Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires announced

Koei Temco and Omega Force have announced that Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires (Shin Sangoku Musou 6 Empires) will be getting a Japan release September of this year.

Review: Atelier Meruru (PS3)

I don’t understand why Atelier games get panned by certain bigger sites that shall not be named. I’ll put it down to the usual hypocrisy – people complain about something changing too much (in this instance “there are no traditional JRPGs any more!”) and then when a developer gives them what they ask for, they complain about THAT.

Shin Megami Tensei IV announced

Fans of the Shin Megami Tensei series will be excited to know that Atlus has announced that this RPG title will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS.

Caslevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate announcement

I have been a longtime fan of the Castlevania series (right back to the original), and I enjoyed the latest on the 360 as well.  So I was quite happy to hear Konami announce that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate would be getting a release.

Nayuta no Kiseki - PSP release and screens

The PSP has been home of some great RPG's this generation.  Nayuta no Kiseki looks like a potentially solid entry from Nihon Falcom, but while it is set to release July 26th of this year, it is currently only set for a Japan release.

Some Scans and Artwork from Lollipop Chainsaw

Lollipop Chainsaw has been getting a lot of attention lately (my wife was a bit stunned/befuddled by it showing up as a preview to a DVD we rented the other day - as confused I think perhaps as much by the advertisement as my immediate knowledge of what we were seeing), and here Famitsu has some scans.

Release info and screens: Zone of the Enders HD

HD remakes have proven pretty popular of late, and Konami is hoping that will be the case for this PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Zone of Enders HD Edition release set for October 25th, 2012 in Japan this year.

Mobile Suit Gundam AGE information and screens

I personally feel like the PlayStation Portable was a vastly underrated little gaming device, so it makes me smile to see that content is still getting produced for it.  Bandai Namco has announced that Level 5's Mobile Suit Gundam AGE will release in Japan Aug 9th, 2012.

More screens & art from Dead or Alive 5 - plus video
