Screens: Silent Hill: Book of Memories... I don't know about this, Konami

What happens when you give talented mavericks, WayForward, access to Konami's horror franchise, Silent Hill? Book of Memories is what, and this launch title for the PlayStation Vita could go either way.

The problem for me is this; the Silent Hill series has always been about atmosphere and venerability. WayForward's game looks more like the pulp action classic, Hunter: The Reckoning. Which was a lot of fun; especially in four player, but it wasn't horrific.

Book of Memories looks action-packed and multiplayer friendly. Which is precisely why this game isn't high on my "must play" list of priorities, despite coming from one of my favourite developers out there.

What do you think? Will you be buying this on the Vita, or even buying a Vita for this?
